This is a little different for Weekend Wanderings. I know…I DO change-it-up a lot on MML. I have talked about the Studio 2.0 Still Photography class recently. More talking than doing. Well, I did get my “studio” arranged and will share that soon.
In the meantime, here is a little info on this lesson #uno photo.
“Forage” and photograph items found, then using Light Room (Adobe application) enhance the photo. BTW, I kept it simple and foraged (indoors) as I set up my (guest room) studio. The piles of junk I had to put away made for a good foraging! Glad to say, “All that stuff in and used to make MML Summer DIY posts, are now stored away, not stacked all over the room.
I used Still, a preset from Kim Klassen’s Light Room preset Studio Complete Collection, to create a Light & Airy mood. I knew during my pre-camera (iPhone!) setup, that I would be going for a that sort of mood. The softer look seemed to fit the weathered monochromatic palette of the items I foraged ; ) burlap, driftwood, sand dollar, and light wood planks. What do you think? After Light Room the image was taken into Photo Shop Elements for a little more levels adjustment for added haze. Then, I added a frame and the word, “Forage.” I’m loving the font TagettesPlus for its handwritten simplicity. You can download it HERE.
Thanks for Meeting Me Lakeside!
